Meet the Crew

Established in 2019, RAD Apparel was started by brothers John and Ryan Craft with the mission of putting the soul back into cycling apparel. Fed up with high prices and limited options, we set out to build an apparel line that not only performs on the trail, but also looks and feels great off of it.  All of our lifestyle apparel is printed locally in Colorado using recycled materials. Keep scrolling to meet the RAD crew and the ambassadors we support!
John Craft RAD Apparel at Palmer Park

John is a native Coloradan who has been a bike fanatic ever since stepping over one in 2009. While his time in cycling has been short, he makes up for it in his rabid dedication to the sport. Having tried almost every piece of apparel the industry had to offer, he decided that most of it wasn’t worth the fabric it was printed on. Enter RAD Apparel. John knew there was a better way to make awesome clothing that performed as it should on the trail but didn’t break the bank.

Ryan, who happens to be John’s little brother has been working in the cycling industry since 2010. He has held positions in various different bike shops, most notably Colorado Cyclist and the award-winning Boulder Cycle Sport. Ryan manages the day to day operations of RAD Apparel. Got questions about one of our pieces of apparel, or just want to talk bikes? Ryan's your man.

Tarek Rahim RAD Ambassador in Vortex jersey

Growing up in upstate New York, I was surrounded by the outdoors from an early age. I was introduced to mountain biking in 2012, and quickly moved to Colorado to continue chasing that passion. Over the last 5 years I transitioned my sights to enduro and downhill riding, while participating in events across the US. When not mountain biking, I love hiking, skiing, and snowboarding. In addition to my racing goals, I continue to help strengthen the bond of the various communities that use the trails in Colorado.

Ashton Morley RAD ambassador Pueblo, CO

From a young age I have always loved riding and racing motocross. Throughout my teenage years I raced amateur motocross in Arizona, Texas and Nevada. Three and a half years ago I bought my first mountain bike and never looked back. My main focus is on Enduro and Downhill, with a little bit of Freeride on the side. Now I am traveling the country with my wife and dog looking for the best trails this country has to offer while trying my best to spread the stoke! I live to ride trails with good friends and nothing beats making new friends along the way.
